Ever wonder what it would be like to wander in a rainforest? Who might we meet in a rainforest? Do you think we might need an umbrella? In this day camp, we will learn fascinating facts about the animals living in a rainforest. We will even meet some rainforest inhabitants on our hike through the zoo (weather permitting). Classes take place in the Education Department. This is a child-only class. Please bring a lunch that does not require refrigeration. Please wear closed-toe shoes.
Age: Children who have completed Kindergarten and will be entering 1st Grade in Fall 2026
Fee per session: $75/Non-Member, $65/FOZ Members
All classes are located at the Education Building (1103 W Smith Street, Springfield, MO 65803), not at the Dickerson Park Zoo front gate.
