Get ready to enter the wild world of conservation at this day camp for junior high students. In this camp we will explore wildlife conservation, ecology and ecosystems! Students will survey local Missouri ecosystems, test water samples, meet ambassador animals up close and more at this three day camp. We will be going outside for this class, please wear close-toed shoes and clothes that can get a bit messy! Campers will need to bring a sack lunch and refillable water bottle to camp each day.
NOTE: This class will involve lots of walking and may include spending long periods of time outdoors.
Age: Grades 6-8
Fee: $180 members / $225 non-members
Duration: 6 hours / 2 days
Time: Monday, July 27th – Wednesday, July 29th 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
All classes are located at the Education Building (1103 W Smith Street, Springfield, MO 65803), not at the Dickerson Park Zoo front gate.
