Summer at the zoo is a wild time! On this safari, we will explore it all, from alligators to zebras! We’ll journey all over the zoo, while learning and having fun at the same time. While on safari, we might get a little bit messy, so students should wear clothes they don’t mind getting wet or dirty. Classes take place in the Education Department. This is a child-only class. Please bring a lunch that does not require refrigeration. Please wear closed-toe shoes.
Age: Children who have completed Kindergarten and will be entering 1st Grade in Fall 2026
Fee per session: $75/Non-Member, $65/FOZ Members
All classes are located at the Education Building (1103 W Smith Street, Springfield, MO 65803), not at the Dickerson Park Zoo front gate.
