Those who work in AZA-accredited zoos and aquariums are united in their passion for animal care and wildlife conservation.  But how many different jobs does it take to run a zoo?  In this class, students will get a taste of a variety of zoo and wildlife careers, from the hands-on care of our Education Animal Ambassadors to creatively designing new exhibits and enrichment items, and even studying the way native animals interact with our own ecosystems.  This is a fantastic class for anyone interested in a future wild job with wildlife!

Age: Students enrolled in 2nd & 3rd grade; adults do not stay with child.

Fee per session: $50/FOZ Member $60/Non-member

Time: 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

All classes are located at the Education Building (1103 W Smith Street, Springfield, MO 65803), not at the Dickerson Park Zoo front gate.
