Join us over spring break for three days full of art and animals at the zoo! Designed for middle schoolers, this class will cover skills that wildlife artists use to create their work. Campers will learn about the elements of art, practice sketching from live animal subjects and more. Class fees cover all camp supplies, instructors, behind the scenes experiences and animal encounters. Please remember to pack a sack lunch, dress for the weather and wear close-toed shoes.
Age: Grades 6-8
Fee: $180 members, $225 nonmembers
Duration: 3 days, 6 hours per day
Time: 10:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.
All classes are located at the Education Building (1103 W Smith Street, Springfield, MO 65803), not at the Dickerson Park Zoo front gate.
