Ornithology is the study of all things bird. From beaks to talons, these feathery friends are a diverse and captivating group of animals. But what conservation lessons can we learn through studying them? And how can we become citizen scientists to help protect them and their environments? We’ll also discover how the zoo works to care for and rehabilitate these beautiful creatures.
Grades 6th-8th (Grade completed at time of class)
FOZ Members: $180
Non Members: $225
All classes are located at the Education Building (1103 W Smith Street, Springfield, MO 65803), not at the Dickerson Park Zoo front gate.
