Here at Dickerson Park Zoo we love ALL animals, but in these exciting TWO DAY camp series we are highlighting Cheetahs! We will become experts on cheetahs; learning about their habitat, diet, adaptations, and their roles in the ecosystem. With crafts, games, animal encounters, and zoo exploration we celebrate these remarkable creatures! We might get messy, so please wear clothes you don’t mind getting wet or dirty. Please bring a sack lunch that does not require refrigeration; reusable containers are permitted and encouraged.
NOTE: Please bring a lunch that does not require refrigeration and a water bottle. Reusable containers are encouraged. Please wear closed toes shoes and clothing that can get dirty.
Age: Students entering 1st or 2nd grade for 2025-2026 school year
Fee: $120/FOZ Member, $150/Non-member
Time: 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
All classes are located at the Education Building (1103 W Smith Street, Springfield, MO 65803), not at the Dickerson Park Zoo front gate.
