Kangaroos, emu, and those kooky kookaburras are all anxiously awaiting a visit from you! Australia is a wondrous land with fantastic animals to meet. Join us as we explore the Outback, make crafts, sample Australian food and even hear a didgeridoo! This class will also take us outside onto zoo grounds, so dress for the weather. Classes take place in the Education Department. This is a child-only class. Please bring a lunch that does not require refrigeration. Please wear closed-toe shoes.
Age: Children who have completed Kindergarten and will be entering 1st Grade in Fall 2026
Fee per session: $75/Non-Member, $65/FOZ Members
All classes are located at the Education Building (1103 W Smith Street, Springfield, MO 65803), not at the Dickerson Park Zoo front gate.
