Through fun and interactive activities, we’ll learn about the different types of habitats, such as rainforests, oceans, deserts, and grasslands, and the animals that call them home. We’ll discover how animals have adapted to their environments to survive. We’ll also explore the connections within an ecosystem and the importance of biodiversity for a healthy planet.
Age: Students who have completed Kindergarten or 1st grade. (Students entering 1st or 2nd grade for 2023-2024 school year)
Fee: $120/FOZ Member, $150/Non-member
Time: 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
All classes are located at the Education Building (1103 W Smith Street, Springfield, MO 65803), not at the Dickerson Park Zoo front gate.
