Zoo Hosts Summer Classes for Kids

Springfield, Mo. - Beginning June 7 and continuing through Aug. 18, the zoo is offering summer classes through its Z.E.B.R.A. program. Classes are available for children ages two and three accompanied by an adult through 7th and 8th grade.

Z.E.B.R.A. classes offer a variety of topics for each age group. Classes are offered in both one-day and multi-day sessions. There is a fee for sessions, and children must be pre-registered. Friends of the Zoo members receive a discount on the session fees.

Z.E.B.R.A. classes are offered year-round and encourage children to explore the natural world while learning about the importance of conservation.

More information about the summer sessions and registration forms are located on the zoo\'s Web site. Registrations can be delivered to the zoo or faxed to 417-833-4459. Visit Friends of the Zoo online for more information about becoming a member.
