Springfield, Mo. - Have breakfast with the beasts from 7 to 10 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 8, at Dickerson Park Zoo during the 11th annual \"Pancakes in the Park.\"
Village Inn Restaurants will prepare a pancake and sausage breakfast at the zoo\'s Bush Country Café. Breakfast also includes your choice of coffee, juice, or milk.
Breakfast is $5 for adults and teens and $4 for children age 12 and younger. FOZ members receive a $1 discount per person on breakfast.
Zoo admission will also be charged during Pancakes in the Park. Special \"Early bird\" admission from 7 to 9 a.m. will be $2 off regular zoo admission. FOZ member families receive free zoo admission every day. Pancakes in the Park is presented by Village Inn Restaurants, Star 105.1FM and Friends of the Zoo.
Dickerson Park Zoo is open daily during the summer, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., including all summer holidays. Admission is $7 for adults and teens, $5 for children ages 3-12 and free for children age two and younger and Friends of the Zoo members. Friends of the Zoo memberships are $65 for an annual pass.
